• Nine month guitar lesson program by a certified Suzuki Method instructor. Lessons begin on the Tuesday after Labor Day (typically the first week of September) and run until the end of May.
• The program is specifically tailored for students attending Suzuki Charter School in Edmonton, Canada.
• Lessons are held on a weekly basis, with holidays corresponding to the Suzuki Charter School calendar. If there is no school, there is no lesson.
• Lessons are held in person at my home based guitar studio in Capilano, just a few short blocks from Suzuki Charter School. There is also a once per month online Zoom Lesson component as well.
• Suzuki Guitar Students taking lessons on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays have a 30 minute weekly lesson. To address an inequity in instructional minutes due to statutory holidays and PD days on Mondays and Fridays, Suzuki Guitar Students taking lessons on Mondays or Fridays have a slightly longer 35 minute lesson. It depends on the student, but I find it is sometimes preferable for very young students (pre-K or kindergarten for example) to have a slightly shorter lesson duration (say, 25 minutes), for the first few months as 30 minutes can be a bit much for them.
• The cost for this 9-month program is $1305/year. Payment is made in 9 equal monthly payments of $145, payable by the first lesson of each month). Fees can be paid by cash, cheque or by INTERAC E-Transfer.

• Ages 4 and up (I begin teaching children in Kindergarten)
